I apply various hand painting techniques in sophisticated color palettes to upcycled pieces of paper, including wallpaper samples and brown paper grocery bags, to create beautiful paper beads. Once the paint has cured, I measure and cut the paper into strips and then meticulously roll the strips into beads. Several coats of water-based acrylic are then applied to each bead making them durable and long lasting.
